I have Norton Anti Virus 2005 installed on my sytem and have the auto update enabled. I scan my system regularly but still feel that there are some threats that exist on my system. Is there any site where I can log in and scan and fix the problems.

Well! Norton Antivirus 2005 Works Well but there are some threats that it can not remove! it's not 100% Virus free! There Is no site where you can login and scan online! that's can't be! They will only lie that they are scanning but they will be sending other threats in your system! the Best Way Is To buy a Pretty Recent Ant Virus Or Format Your Hard Drive!! Don't you ever Scan Online! They Force you to download it and once you download it, They search and Tell you that they foung thousands of threats!! Still They don't do nothing! They just Tell you how many threats you have and then tells You to Buy It!! Format your Hard Drive Or Buy a Recent Anti Virus

McAfee AVERT Stinger

Stinger is a stand-alone utility used to detect and remove specific viruses. It is not a substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist administrators and users when dealing with an infected system. Stinger utilizes next generation scan engine technology, including process scanning, digitally signed DAT files, and scan performance optimizations.

Versions of Stinger
Stinger - New releases of Stinger contain all families, and associated families, of threats that have achieved a Medium of higher Risk Asssessment. This Stinger is only updated upon the discovery of a new Medium or higher threat.

ePO Stinger - When possible, and ePO compatible version of Stinger will be created. Currently only ePO 2.5 - 3.5 are supported.

Threat Specific Stingers - When needed, a Stinger will be released that targets a specific threat.

i wish and anticipate you have an antivirus application put in. bypass into secure Mode: Restart, and at contemporary press and carry the F8 key until you come to a black and white DOS menu. Press the right key for secure Mode. click start up, courses, locate your antivirus application, and run an entire test. could take a pair of hours. while complete, Restart. you would be able to locate your icons out of place. No vast deal, drag them the place you opt for them.
