I liked it a lot. Its one of those creepy movies that makes you wonder how many cannibals exist. Also it is a few years old, I don't know if i'd watch it again now. Also keep in mind that its not all action, there is a lot of dialogue.

Didn't think there are people who hasn't. Yes, it is good. Hopkins is great in it. And Dr. Lecter is an outstanding character. But personally I don't like Foster. That's why I prefer part two - Hannibal. and I recommend it if you haven't seen it either.

So so good.The best of the Hannibal Lector films. Creepy, scary and fun. I saw it three times in the theatre, I own it now, and I've read the book twice!!Totally rent it and watch it with the lights out!!

It's good. I cannot stomach horror films at all and I wasn't bothered by it in the least. Now the sequels, I couldn't even sit through the previews.

It is fabulous! Great cast - Foster and Hopkins are terrific. It is very intense and leaves you on the edge of your seat through the entire movie. Won lots of oscars and deserved them all. See it.

Yes, it's one of those rare cases where the movie was as good as the book, and they were both excellent.
