Clocks forward, clocks back, why can't we just change the clocks by 1/2 an hour and call it good?

some countries do have time zones that are some hours and a million/2 an hour until now or after Greenwich recommend Time. yet needless to say this is way less complicated to go the clock forward or back an entire hou. in my view, dwelling in Kent, i don't see why we don't carry on with Greenwich recommend Time. If we stumble on it too dark interior the mornings in winter we can purely upward push up at an earlier time and bypass to mattress earlier!

Click and Clack, the Car Guys on NPR once suggested something they called, "Daily Savings Time". Every day, we would turn the clocks back at 3 AM, thus giving us an extra hour of sleep, and then turn them forward at 3PM, making so we could head home from work an hour early. They argued it would increase worker productivity by making us less tired at the begining of the day. And nobody gets anything done that last hour of work, anyway...

Honestly, I don't see the point of the whole thing either. We may save money in the spring/summer, but what about the fall/winter when the days end at 5 PM?

true.. but why dont we just get rid of daylight saving all together..it would save us all the hasle of setting our alarm clocks...god knows i forgot lol
