My cat ruptured his tendon and the vets stiched the wound, but there is no splint and he's noticeably limping -- doesn't seem like the tendon will heal without a brace or splint - does anyone know anything about this?

Make one yourself with a Popsicle stick & gauze, just place the stick where the wound is, with cotton balls to relieve the pain, then cut and apply the stick, use 2 sticks if you have to or break one in 1/2. Try not to let him walk about cause of the
stiches, and guaze the whole leg as he'll be nawing at it to get
it off! I give my dog Benedryl, during crises like this, read the
weight and see if you can give him a 1/4 or 1/2 for pain and
he'll sleep alot, my lil dog is a Jack Russell @ 20lb.
All the Best to poor baby! Hope he's ok get a friend to help!
