Your education is sorely lacking.
Think about it for a minute............when the Ocean tides come in where do they head ? The Nearest "Bank" ! Right ?
And when they come in the "Sand" comes into the "Bank" with the Ocean Waves It "deposits" The "Sand Dollars" at that time ! And that is how sand deposits.....in sand dollars !
Any Questions?

As water that is saturated with sand particles flows over an obstacle or around a corner or any other type of restriction the water flow slows and this allows the heavier particles to drop and they begin to build up. The same thing can happen in your pipes if you have dirty water.

A.k.a how to build a sand bar.
