Hell no. Rock and Roll tells a story while having some good music behind it. Rap is just some chanting, telling no story. I'd much rather have country music ensembles in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame than that (c)rap.

I don't know, rock n roll is more a state of mind than a genre of music. I saw the dixie chicks in concert a few years ago and that was as much a rock n roll show as springsteen.

of course they should have seperate musical halls-there is a dramatic difference between rock and roll and rap-that would be like putting country and rock and roll together it just doesn't combine very well! so i don't think so-i'm not sure who would!

well, i don't like rap personally. but yeah i guess they should have their own hall of fame. it is still music (as much as i hate to admit it) and some of it does actually require talent to create.
