I work at taco bell and Im 20 yrs old. You have to be at least 16 to work there. If a minor though you have to have your parents signature.

I called them and asked. I live in houston Tx, amd work laws are pretty much the same in most states, but they can vary. They told me 16 or 15 with a work permit for anywhere but Louissianna, California, or Oregon, where you can be 14 with a permit or 16.

you can start working as early as 15 with a work permit signed by your parents you will not be able to use some equipment until you are 18 though

I believe thanks to child endangerment laws you must be 16 to have a part time job (and a work permit) + you will have restriction on what hours you can work.
