buy a pillow protector it's just like a mattress protector or quilt protector ,you just put it in the wash along with your bed linen that's what i do.

You buy a pillow tic. (that's a cover for the pillow ) You put that on first (it zips closed).You can buy them in collon or if you want plastic.Then you put on your pillow case. This way you can keep the pillow clean, and You can always wash the pillow tic,when needed.

I don't know that there's any way to prevent it completely, but I'd try using more than one pillowcase at a time, or get a zippered cover for it. And most pillows are washable.

I use soft plastic covering for the pillow. If this is not practical for you use Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (diluted), clean as you would any garment stain. Do not saturate and then brush dry with heavy washcloth or towell. spray with freshener and hand to dry.

use pillow cases made with strong 100% cotton, dont use brushed cotton.
do u use waxy hair products?
wash hair with washing-up liquid, it gets rid of grease/wax.

try putting baby powder in your hair. helps to get rid of the greasy oily feel. just sprinkle it on to your head and rub it in. hope it works for you.
