Well what I would do and what you should do are very different. Since you seem like a kind and caring person, I will spare you the details of what kind of reply that I would send.
Tell her thank you for the kind words and it was wonderful it is to hear that she is doing well. Explain to her (briefly) how much you know that she will be happy for you because things are going great for you to. Because you are really busy with work and a new boyfriend (or girlfriend or whatever), it does not leave you much time to sign on and read emails... dont bring up the past so she will have no motivation to reply. Resist the temptation to ask her about her personal life. It is someone elses problem now....be glad you are out of her life!
DONT RESPOND TO ANY OTHER EMAILS from her.
If she is emailing you from her yahoo account, create an auto message just for her that says something to the effect of
'away from my computer: will respond as soon as possible'.
Put her email on your BLOCKED list and you wont even SEE the emails that she sends!
out of sight out of mind.
Please dont get sucked back into an abusive relationship, it is one of thier favorite tricks.....
Glad you got out of that situation...
why on earth would you even CONSIDER going back.

You know the answer to this. Do not respond to her. Period.
No words, no calls, no email. Nothing. It's over. You will be fine, she will be fine and she will get the message that you can't treat your friends like rubbish and get away with it. You are better off without this person. Move on.

you should tell her how you feel and if you dont want her back in your life then you should tell her to stop emailing you and wash your hand of her
