Any sources would be helpful.
Thank You

the tail vertebreae are fused to form a single bone called as " coccyex"in humans.
you should know that all vertebrates have skeletons which are based on the same basic structure the size and number is different due to evolution. because they have a common ancester from which different species evolved.
you can even find vestiges of long bones of limbs in fish skeleton.
but chimps and humans are very close along the evolution line of primates hence there are similarities in their skeleton
regarding the morphologic appearance.
there are however a differences also :
The volume of the human brain case averages 1400 cm3, while the chimpanzee brain case averages 400 cm3.
Human canines are small in both sexes; chimpanzee canines are larger in males.
Chimpanzee metacarpals are longer and more curved for climbing in trees and knuckle-walking on the ground.
The human thumb is relatively longer and has well-developed musculature for fine manipulation.
The chimpanzee clavicle angles upward; the human shoulder joint is lower.
The thorax of the chimpanzee is broad compared to the human thorax.
The human spine is curved for balance during bipedal locomotion.
The human pelvis has a short, broad ilium and a short ischium. This is also an adaptation for bipedality.
The human femur is distally angled inwards towards the midline. This is called a valgus knee and helps with balance during walking.
Human toes are shorter than chimpanzee toes.
The big toe of the human is adducted, or drawn in line with the rest of the toes, compared to the divergent big toe of the chimpanzee.
for seeing the comparative anatomy of each part you could log on to http://www.eskeletons.org/
the human DNA has 87.6% similarity to chimp dna.
for a complete analysis you could refer to: http://www.whyevolution.com/chimps.html
there seem to be many differences between besides the obvious skeletal resemblance.
hopr u got what u want

That's a good question, it really all depends on the gender. A male and female human has different pelvis structures and a human skull does not have _______ I forgot that word, but a chimp will always have a hole in the skull that the spinal cords connects too. A human skull will never have a hole unless they are dead. A chimp will have similar pelvis structures but they won't look as exact to a human. I hope this helps, BTW[By the way] A chimps spinal cord will be on a curve, and a humans will be straight unless we have scoliosis.

chimps basically have the same skeletal structure

there aren't really any.
we each have arms, legs, spine, head, 2 eyes etc.
But really - are they similar? the structures are very different.
