I will be atttending the Art Institute of seattle this spring and I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences to share or if anyone is an alumni if they could tell me if it was worth it. I just don't want to be waisting my time, or going in blind.

It's definitely a good school. I am going there now for advertising. They focus on practical more than theoretical. I feel prepared for the real world. I went to a University for a year and then moved to AI. The talent around me is amazing and everyone seems ready with portfolios and a great business sense. You can always go for a school with a great name or one that prepares you for what's really out there, like AI. The teachers work in the biz and the students are down to earth. Lotsa fun art! :D Good luck!

You're not going to be wasting your time. I live in Seattle and have gone to a lot of the faculty shows, student exhibitions and talked to some of the students. The art is exceptional and there are a lot of very talented teachers. I graduated from Herron School of Art(Indiana). Stick with it, please I think you'll be glad you did.
