I haven't ridden one, but was talking at length with a friend who has just returned from a week in France (where Ural's biggest European distributor is) learning the techniques of riding a motorcycle with side car. It was some kind of course Ural offers. He and his wife stayed a week, and rode their entire range of motorcycles, including the Wolf.

He's ridden a large range of bikes, from a 125cc scooter up to his current BMW 1200, and loved every minute of riding their bikes - making particular mention of the fact that they felt much more like what bikes "should" be like to ride, without all of the frills.

He's also done lots of research into them, and yes there's been a major overhaul of their parts and machine quality recently - as they're trying to push for a stronger presence around the globe, and more investment in range and quality.

I know two other people who've ridden them, and they always have a smile of joy when they recall riding them. I hope that helps, and you should see if you can arrange a decent length test ride - good luck!
