I have nothing against the guy....I think he's doing a fine job. But I can't help but feel he's up to something....like he might have a bigger plan down the road or something.
My question is...are you a Harper fan...is he for real?

I have a dual citizenship and am a born Canadian. To me he's doing a good job. Especially fixing up the screw-ups the Liberal governement did. For a minority government that he has he's having his way of which I got to commend him on, that is keeping the other parties off balance. They could have a non confidence motion at any time but yet he's kept that in check. I agree however he does have something up his sleeve of which or where is the big question, good or bad is the other. He threw out the gun law which costed Canadian taxpayers millions of wasted dollars, or should I say he reformed that gun bill which made it almost worthless.
I voted for him for one reason in the past election he couldn't do any worse than Paul Martin. The liberals figured they could pass any law they felt like, whether Canadians wanted it or not.
I think he's doing a real good job at the moment.

Many Americans on this site, doubt you will get much from us, we are too busy being idiots.

Stephen Harper well...

He is undermining the welfare state in Canada by fiscal and regulatory steps fueling further privatization initiatives which will take away the comforst of many Canadians in the long term.

If it were not for the liberals pressuring him, adding checks and ballance, he would be in bed with Newt Gingrich types who want to bring us all back to the labor standards of 1900 and put kids back in the coal mines etc. they hate the poor.

He's actually done a good job in my opinion

While I don't know if he has some hidden agenda, I don't think he's given a reason no to vote for him. More to the point, Dion hasn't done anything to sway voters back to the Liberal Party.

I'll be voting Conservative next election. It could bite me in the *** but at this point I feel he's done a good job and is the best candidate out there

Give the 'galoot'(as Yosemite Sam would say) a majority and G** help us all!! He'll make Mulroney look like an NDPer. Worst of all in Ontario we got rid of Flaherty, Baird, and Clement and now we got them back in spades!! The fox(s) are in charge of the hen house. I sure hope us Liberals can vote for the party and let it go for now that Dion got in the back door. He's only one and not bad at that, but he sure as heck doesn't look the part. I couldn't care less about his English. I had a tough time with Cretien's 'English?' For pete's sake vote Liberal for our country. The rest will take care of itself(and we'll have a daycare program!).
