Sounds like normal stretching of the ligaments. If you think about it at times that aren't around your normal period time, you'll feel the same thing. Everything is stretching. You may also be doing too much. Sometimes if you walk too much or don't rest when you need it you can feel pain in your lower abdomen. You're muscles are just getting really tired.

Sounds like Braxton-Hicks contractions (practice contractions your body starts around the 2nd trimester), but please please see your doctor (or call or call the maternity ward of your hospital) to find out for sure. All contractions feel like menstrual cramps, so it could even be preterm labor. Better safe than sorry! Braxton-Hicks are almost a tight rolling feeling in your abdomen.

If you have any pains, you should immediately call your doctor. You shouldn't be asking people on Yahoo! answers.. We are NOT doctors..
