In response: just so you know, the other poster was right, it does not grow back worse, that is an old myth. I believe it was disproved on myth busters or brainiac. I am not in sports, I want to do it for style, perhaps modeling.

You can shave anything any time you want to shave it; there are not laws of shaving for guys or women. A lot of male athletes shave because they claim it cuts wind and water resistance also wrestlers shave so opponents cannot pull the hair on their bodies.
Several dermatologists have told me shaving does NOT make the hair grow back thicker and darker: old wives tale.
You might want to try Veet hair removal cream instead of shaving. I have been using it for a year and it's wonderful, gentle and no cuts.

My partner just recently shaved his legs( not a complete shave, more of a little clean up) and also his chest. In my opinion it didn't look very nice, as it grew back very thick and bristly But I wouldn't tell him this. I don't mind guys with no leg hairs by any means . But would suggest waxing instead. I don't even think anybody looks twice at a guy who shaves or waxes his legs these days.

Why would you care what a bunch of YAHOOS think, much less your friends. It is your body, do what you want to, do what you want to . Honestly, if you dont get the attention from your feet, toes, hands, fingers, face, brows, chest and belly. I just want to know where you find the time. I barely can do my underarms and legs in the morning.

OK well first thers nothing wrong with shavin anypart of your body but you have to remember it grows back blacker and thicker. There willl be some ridicule from your friends because most of the time unless your a swimmer or u have something to do with track and feild ther baisiclly no point of shaving other areas but if thast what you want to do i think go ahead because ther isnt anything physicly wrong with it.
Hope this helps

Body builders, swimmers, cyclists, runners, dancers, any athlete who wears tight clingy garments, drag performers and guys with a significant other who has a hairless fetish, all have legitimate reason to shave their legs. Aside from that I'm thinking no on the legs.
I shave my biceps because I go sleeveless often and aside from just being disgustingly hairy, the hair detracts from my tattoos.

first ask yourself why you want to be so smooth??? you may just like the sensation, some guys do, or maybe there are deeper personal issues??
that said expect to cop flack from your male peers, as most see it as effeminate and girly, unless your mates all do. it to.
personally im a guy and i shave my pits and my groin, for two reasons, pits are a hygene issue and you suffer far less bo when there isnt all that hair to trap sweat and bacteria, and the groin is because most of my female partners find it sexy ;)
good luck, make your decisions for you, and not for others

properly a gorilla is gross, connect the swim group and use it as an excuse i do no longer care the two way, that's as much as you and a woman assist you to recognize what she prefers in case you ask, different sensible she could think of you're being a touch undecided.... physique builders are no longer bushy, some like bushy, that's what you're comfortable with, she could think of you're gay in case you shave i could no longer say

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

That is way too much maintenance......girls will think you're too high maintenance.
Shaving hair cause it to grow in thicker. You should leave your leg and arm hair alone, its good to have hair it keeps you warm.
It's okay to shave if you're a runner/wrestler, or swimmer.

My boyfriend is a cyclist and he shaves his legs. Actually, he asked me if I could wax them for him this weekend. I've waxed my legs for years and its much nicer than shaving and makes your hair grow soft and sparse. And besides... be yourself and who cares what others think (:
