Make sure you ride the cable cars. WALK across The Golden Gate Bridge. Visit China Town. Take in a Giant's game if you have a chance. Take a ride up and down the hills. Go down Lombard St. Visit the zoo. Visit Alcatraz. Make sure you take in the lights from The City at night. Make sure you visit Golden Gate Park. While there have some tea at The Japanese Tea Garden. Take a walk or drive down Market St. and check out the buildings.

If you want to do the touristy things, visit The Cannery, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Union St., The Wax Museum Etc.

It's a beautiful city. I hope the fog is there for you to enjoy.

Go to "Camera Obscura." It about making cameras out of oatmeal boxes, and much more, fun, free.
All the museums, Coit Tower(400 stairs to climb, or drive up,) China Town, drive through the neighborhoods and see how San Franciscans do their homes and neighborhoods, Golden Gate Park (and it's botanical gardens.) If you can spend some money go to the Steinhart Aquarium, with it's circular aquarium that goes around you! And eat at Pier 39. Contact the San Francisco Tourist Bureau for more info, and see the city's website.

Ride the cable cars to North Beach and walk around Fisherman's Wharf. Or, go to the Presidio, old Army Base, and talk a walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. That's free. The cable cars aren't.

wait around fisherman's wharf until it gets dark them walk down to the beach and watch for a nice looking person you like and then hold out some cash. they either come to you or walk away. if the hesitate it means they want more. it is a wonderful city.
