I'm hopefully going to be graduating soon with an associates in IT, and I'm hoping to find a job that will have a place for me. I'd really like to be a website designer or maaaaybe graphic design, I'm creative, and have some artistic skills, and a fast learner, with some experience in it (devoloped church website). Is it possible to get a job that pays around 30K-40K with an associates? I've been in school for nearly 4 yrs just getting the associates, (working nights slowed me down), and I'm sick of school now (I know, I know, bad). Is experience worth anything over a Bachelors degree?? I hope so! thanks for the advice!

If you are truly interested in web/graphic design, most companies will hire you (if they are in need) if you have the SKILL. There is no degree in that field that can take the place of skill. There is no school that can teach creativity and desire. As such, if you have those coupled with skill, you should be able to find a job.

I wish you the best in your search...
