There's a book called Blacks Law Dictionary. The abridged version is over 1100 pages. It's full of words.

But if you mean, how does a lawyer argue a case or motion -- words are the lawyers tools of trade. A carpenter has tools, a mechanic or doctor has tools. A lawyer has words.
