I was thining about going to Glamourshots to have my hair and makeup done, but not sure what to do?

They do hair and makeup at Glamour Shots, contrary to one of the previous answers, but if your hair is not long enough you need to bring a wig.
Go for it - you will have a great time, and the makeup artists are professionals although they put on quite a lot of makeup on you.

I don't know what Glamourshots is specifically, so I can only answer in general. For anything you do, the first question regards the money. Can you afford to do what you want and not miss the money no matter what happens? If Glamourshots is an expensive salon, and you can afford to treat yourself, go for it! You're worth it.
On the other hand, if they are some other kind of service, analyze it carefully. Do they really deliver what they promise? Are their other customers happy? Don't take their word, ask around.

Hell no!!! they shoot everyone the same.they are not real professionals. you are better off at a senior pic studio. And do your own makeup or have someone that knows you do it. most ppl at places like macy's, mac, and glamour shots cant do other people's make-up well. if they are not a make-up artist in the professional fashion industry then i would not go to them. those store ppl maybe good but not all of them are good. i say go natural.

If you want to look like a 40 year old beauty queen go for it!
Pay some money to a true professional photographer. You will be so much happier!

You should do it...I did and i came out feeling great...they were so nice and made me look fantastic...and it was something i did for me which i dont do very often...plus with the pics everything always compliments how great and amazing you look and it never hurts to hear that rite!! Reward urself!!
