yes it was on of the best but I always believe that tom hanks is a great actor because every time I see one of his movies I get caught up and believe who he say he is in the movie and I call that I sign on how good a actor or actress is.
I ask myself this question did the actor or actress make you believe them as who they said they where in the movie even after you know who they really are. and if they did that then it was worth my money and my time .

You cannot leave out that movie when thinking about the best ones he has done but you can't leave out movies like Road to Perdition, Apollo 13, The Green Mile, and A League of their Own and Big either.

for me, yeah. forrest gump is one of my favorite movies of all time! but i also loved him in cast away, saving private ryan, and apollo 13. tom hanks is such a great actor!

they say Tom Hanks imitated the way the boy (youthful Forrest) clearly talked. So it might desire to have sounded noticeably authentic. i'm from the South (Tennessee) and that i assumed it sounded authentic.

No - my all time favorite Tom Hanks movie is "Big." If you haven't seeen it, a must to rent! great movie!

I like most all of his movies but I thought he did a really excellent job of acting in Philadelphia and I've got to admit I really liked him in A League of Our Own.

Turner and Hooch, That was the best one he was in!
Also Splash, I really like it too
of course Forrest Gump was good too.

I liked this movie, but I also like his goofier movies like the money pit. I cant really decide what his best movie is, but I think most of them are very good.

Awww I ♥ that moviee. It's so cute. But i guess he was real good in most of his movies. And eveyone has a different point of view. I think it was one of his best movies. :D
