Yes, I/We do. It's really a good idea, especially if you are going to be spending some big dollars on something like having work done on your home. My wife and I found out the hard way, when we didn't check one company out and they dragged their butts and did a sub-standard job.

The good news is we learned from our mistakes and checked out the next company, when we had different project done on our 120+ year old house.

I do if I have never heard of the company before. Just go to www.bbb.com and you can type in the name of the company and see if there are records of complaints from the company. Better safe than sorry nowdays!

Definatley. I file complaints with them as well anytime I feel scammed or conned.
