I do not understand it myself. One thing that can explain it is:
The Bible and Torah both have the Ten Commandments as the up most set of Laws to live by. The 94% Christians, and a lot of Jewish people should know better. (I was raised both, so I can talk about it).
The first commandment say that one should love the Lord your God with all thy heart, mind, soul, and spirit. The Second says, "Love thy neighbor (fellow man) as you love yourself." Here is the problem:
Most people do not love them self, so how can they love and tolerate others. All the Law and Prophets are based on these two commandments.
People do not really love God, and do not really love them selves, so how can they love others. This is a very sad situation.
The last time I looked, there was only ONE Judge, and that was the Father in Heaven.
I hope this helped you out.
The people who say they love God, but also hates the next guy on the street is a liar, and the scriptures are not alive in him. I am speaking truth for those who know and believe the Scriptures. If you do not know and believe the scriptures, then I can not speak for you. Consult what ever God and Scriptures you do believe in.
I try to always treat others as I want to be treated. I have to answer for my own actions one day. I can not answer for anyone else.

Oh, c'mon, isn't that a little disingenuous? What country do you live in, the UK? How are you getting along with Muslims up there?
There's intolerance everywhere. America is highly multicultural so any intolerance is going to be magnified. At least we're not trying to ban the Burqa like those dumb people in the Netherlands.

Racist parents teach their kids to be racist and the kids are too ignorant to make up their own minds so they continue the racism when they have kids. Oh then we also have the idiots who think a whole group of people act like the stereotypes displayed on tv. Same thing with gays and religions. Americans (not all of course) ignorantly fear and seem to feel a sense of superiority over those who are different from them. It's ridiculous and it sucks that all the hate and discrimination in our country will never go away.

each physique is illiberal to three degree... even that man or woman that suggested that elementary christians are illiberal... :/ that for the period of and of itself is intolerance... human beings think of that being tolerant ability that we ought to trust human beings, in spite of the indisputable fact that that isn't what it ability... being tolerant of somebody is even nevertheless you disagree with somebody else you could actually stay in peace with that individual... occasion, i'm a christian and that i've got faith in what the Bible says, and so forth. and one in all my associates that I met in college is from Sri Lanka and he's a Buddhist. even nevertheless we disagree on faith we are the two very solid associates and we strive to understand each and each others faiths and perspectives... that my buddy is genuine tolerance... something that few practice yet maximum boast approximately... :/ I even have additionally come for the time of many muslims besides (and shocker i could relatively take a seat next to them on a thank you to type and... oh i do no longer know... confer with them... some the place even astonished that I knew the place their u . s . became into...) and nevertheless they do no longer carry the comparable ideals I do, I even have discovered that maximum are very non violent human beings... I have not got any grudge against muslims in basic terms those that they say take the Koran out of context as even Christians do... To the poster applicable above me... i do no longer know what international you reside in... yet um... racism and sexism have not been "solved" we've come an rather good distance from the place we've been 50 - a hundred years in the past... yet those 2 variations of elitism and prejudice nevertheless exist as we talk... :/ in the event that they nevertheless did no longer exist then we would not nevertheless "decide on" Affermative action... or a minimum of it would not be used anymore...

So many people who have nothing in common with each other trying to get along in one space is difficult. Most countries don't have that dilemma of balancing cultures, so I don't expect them to get it. Some people understand that cultures are different, and others don't. Like you for example, you think we're all intolerant. That's pretty ignorant to me.
