the main trick is the bolts are opposite of most bolts (because of the touque of the spinning blades) so you remove them by turning Right instead of left.

well, you should be able to remove the deck from the mower. you then just flip it over and take the bolts off of the blades. be carefull, they may be left handed. if you are sharpening them you will want to ensure that they are properly balanced before installing.

Every mower we have serviced has been right handed threads. The thing is they might have used an impact wrench when putting them on. This will make it seam as though they are stuck.
