I'm not sure how much, but I'm really into the History Channel and my favorite TV show is House. Scrubs is the only comedy I watch, unless its re runs of the Golden Girls on Lifetime...those ladies crack me up!

Probably about two hours a day but not constant , just through out the day. It is best for kids to give thereselves about 30 to 45 mins a day of tv. Instead of sitting on the couch and watching TV it is better for the body and mind to do outdoor activities or read. I mostly watch comedy shows or shows like CSI.

Although I'm not always paying attention, my tv stays on from the time I get up, to the time I go to bed, probably about 14 hours on the days I dont have class (4 days per week) and about 5 hours on the days I do.
I watch all sorts of stuff. House, 24, Monk, Star Trek (TNG & Voyager), CSI, Fraisure, Will & Grace, Family Guy, Futurama, Charmed, American Idol, I love NY, America's Next Top Model, TV land, Animal Planet, HGTV, etc.

I watch approx. 4 hours of TV every week. I usually watch shows that make my brain work, such as CSI and House.
At least I get something out of staring at the idiot box.
