Would you rather have 1st and 3rd round picks inexchange for michael turner. Eventually he will be gone after this season because of the money. With the compensation, we can actually look to get a good SS or WR.

What do you think?

Oh yea the new unis are pretty sick. They do look more slick and modern. If you dont like it, dont worry you'll get used t it.

The NFL is all about gambling, going for it on 4th and 1, going for 2, its all risky. With that being said, I believe that the Chargers should trade Michael Turner because they need to receive as much compensation as possible for him strictly for his talent alone, not just keep him for one year as an insurance policy. The Chargers could pick up a cheap RB in the late rounds of the draft or sign one off the practice team to come into games in relief of Tomlinson because with that Offensive line still intact and Lorenzo Neal leading the way, The Rockettes could high-kick thier way into the endzone, let alone an average running back. If the trade Turner they could pick up either or both a quality WR such as Robert Meachem or Ted Ginn Jr., or go for a quality safety like Michael Griffin or LaRon Landry. I say trade Turner for the future because they are just a few picks away from greatness.

as much as i want a 1st/3rd rnd pick selections, i believe that the chargers right now are set to become superbowl contenders ...philip rivers has a full year of experience and can only get better...with the recent signing of kris dielman, the offensive line will be intact for several more years...while tomlinson is now in his prime, a key injury and most likely he will be gone for the rest of the season...look at what happened to shaun alexander...he set the touchdown record in 2005 only to be injured the following year...now if tomlinson was to get hurt, i will atleast breathe a sigh of relief knowing that the chargers have a very capable back up runningback in michael turner......turner has given 110% to this team, and they should reward him with a superbowl win before he leaves...he has atleast earned that right.

I think Turner isn't proven enough for a 1st and 3rd pick.

Maybe a 2nd and 7th.

Also if Turner stays thru this season and leaves in free agency the team gets what is called a "compensentory pick" due to losing a valuable veteran in free agency. Turner will probably be worth a 3rd round pick.

I would have him 1st round because you dont want to miss out on that kind of talent. Then the Chargers should get a WR because a the NFL combine there were so many amazing WR so they will not miss out.

The key is how much money do San Diego have under the salary cap? Maybe they can't afford 2 first round picks.

I think if Oakland Have the right, they should pick Turner because he is a very very powerful back, and if they pick him it going to be a very good competition between LT VS Turner.
