This teacher has been to court and going now for another student, there are countless stories-slamming a student into a locker, breaking glasses when a student said that it hurt when he hit her in the shoulder. He continues to get away with it b/c he has tenure. This is not right and now my son is next, this needs to stop! Someone please help me, I've contacted the police and they said talk to the school so I contacted DCFS. Also when my son went to the office to call home and let me know he was having a physical altercation done to him the office would not let him call me! What are the rules for teachers and why does this one keep getting away with it?

What state school district are you in? I know in NYC it doesn't matter about your tenure, a student accuses you and you are sent to the infamous rubber room.

As someone who works in a school, there is a packet of papers in most school districts which is the parent's and child's rights as students attending that institution. copies should be available to concerned parents and/or distributed to older aged students upon their first week of attending classes, which are also available at the campus office or at the school district office. Although nowdays many school districts have webpages and the code of conduct/rules and regulations are probably available there for the school in question. If you are getting the runaround try calling someone higher than the school principal. Your school district probably has an attorney to protect their interests but they should also be worried about protecting the students. Every school and district is different of course but if you want things to stop perhaps the best way for you to protect yourself and son is for you to take a week off work and visit in this teacher's class. If you are signed in at the office as a visitor to campus the teacher shouldn't have anything to say to you sitting in. If you don't like anything you see you certainly have cause to act.

An assualt is an assualt, it doesn't matter if the jerk has tenure or not. You did what the police asked keep bugging them until they press charges. There are other law enforcement agencies that might just take this case. Maybe go to the sheriffs department. Put a stop to it before it becomes more serious this idiot is putting your children at risk. and its going to get worse. Maybe even try to get the Prosecutors office to get the cops rolling on this.

Go to your Sons school, do NOT call and talk to the Principal. Let him know that under no circumstances are you going to stand for it. If this does not work, go to the Police Station and file a Complaint. Hopefully this will end soon and the bad Teacher will be fired. Now if these Boys are teens and causing Trouble in school, I salute any teacher who stands up for old time punishment, the kind that actually worked.

If not, there's no different selection as a final motel, to tension the instructor to provide up your self. i.e. For self defence or the defence of your little female, threaten the instructor in some way, yet make beneficial to not get found out! It additionally well worth pondering a diverse college, yet this would purely result interior the comparable problems.
