how come i fell prettier when i style my hair or put on makeup even though it takes a lot of time?
i've always wondered about that.

Well, when we style our hair or do our make up,
we are enhancing features to make them stand out ...
If you have a nice mouth, gloss or lipstick makes it "POP"
Just like a little mascara and shadow make your eyes more noticeable or setting your hair 'just so' will frame your face...
The extra time one invests in looking good is apparent when you step outside and you catch the guy sitting across from you in the bus or at the next table Starbuck's giving you the 'look' ... We all like to feel pretty ... even if it is just for ourselves.
Of course, the best compliments are when you didn't "try" to look pretty and a guy looks at you in your 'comfy' jeans & T-shirt and says "You're HOT" ....

gettin ur hair done and doin our makeup gives us an instant confidence boost b/c we feel a little closer to perfect

probably becus ur used to it. and doing ur hair and makeup really DOES make u pretty ;) i know it does for me...hahaha that's what makeup is for! to make you prettttttty=] but im too lazy to do all that

I don't know. i think the prep time is part of the whole thing, haha subconsciously somehow. its a feminine thing i guess.

because you deserve to be able to make your self up. every one likes to do themselves up every once in a while. its an instant confidence booster. :D
