Can't sleep for nothing, insatiable hunger...eating like crazy, lots of CV discharge, weight gain, lots of gas, mild cramps, move around alot at work and feel a little nauscious....test came out negative. I had sex 5 days before my period was due, chances are I'm not...but whats up with all this BS. I had a shorter lighter period but...I dunno. Can you still have a period while pregnant? What are your thoughts? Preg or no? Maybe it's the weather. Thank you.

Nerves.... probably, but pregnancy is possible.... Same thing happened to me and I am not 34 weeks pregnant. Although remember it is possible to be pregnant and still have your period. It happened to me so I didn't think anything of being a little late the following month. Wait a month, then buy a brand name test, or go to a local clinic, Planned Parenthood, or Hospital and get a urine test done. Try to go early in the am as that is when the largest amount of the Human Growth Hormone will be present in your urine! Best of luck to yoU!

Yes, you actually can have a period when pregnant, though it's abnormal and is a sign that something is wrong. Actually, though, your symptoms sound more like PMS, which can cause insomnia, hunger, and even gas. Plus, bloating and weight gain. Really, in the early stages of pregnancy, you sleep a great deal due to your body's increased need for rest. It also sounds a bit like Irritable Bowel Syndrome. But, if you are still worried, take another home pregnancy test in a week or so and treat your body as if you were pregnant until you find out for sure (meaning no smoking, drinking, caffeine, or drug use- except maybe vitamins and Tylenol if needed).

well, I'm kind of going through the same thing but a little different. yes, you can still bleed while you are pregnant. Maybe it was too soon for the test to pick up on the pregnancy hormone in your urine...I would say wait a week or 2 and test again or just go see your doctor, if you can, he can help you figure out what's going on....Good luck...

If you had your period...no. You can metally have those symptoms by overthinking it. If you think you are not feeling well and having too many symptoms, see your obgyn to have him/her take a look.
