How do* I keep a painting.....

All you have to do to keep the painting is go into buy mode, select the painting (not the easel), and then move it to a wall to hang it up. Alternatively, you can put the painting into your inventory by going into your sim's inventory, selecting the painting (again, not the easel), and then clicking in the inventory box to put it in there. You can do that with any painting your sims paint that you like and would like to keep with you when moving your sims to a new home, since items in your inventory don't get sold.

Well, the only way u can keep it is if u keep it on the painting thing (srry havn't played game 4 so long, i forgot the name of the thing) BUT, if u want to keep it, u can't sell it

if u have finsihed painting, step ur sim aside (for easy clicking) then go to buy mode, use the hand tool and clik the painting itslef, from there u can now place it in a wall or anywhere u lik.. u can even place ur painting in ur sim's inventory

there is no way... i tried but you cant.. you can sell them and buy new ones for your house but thats it...:(
