The Wonder Years. That show had me on the edge of my seat constantly. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I grew up with it.

Boy Meets World was a cute show with a cute cast. I saw a rerun recently an enjoyed it.
The Wonder Years had a much broader appeal. It's young cast and middle/high school settings made it accessible to the youth of it's time (late 80s/early 90s), while the fact that it was set in the late 60s gave it a nostalgia appeal to adults who had lived through those times.
I watched the closing moments of the final episode of The Wonder Years on You-tube a few months ago and it was hard not to get a little choked up.
Boy Meets World was cute...The Wonders Years had a little more meat to it, though, and would thus get my vote.
