Many of the good clubs didn't let their players go. I read somewhere that Mourinho said no to Lippi for Drogba and Terry before Terry was injured because they allready have enough fixtures.

you left out the best goalie in the world, Petr Cech. Yeah he had his head injury but he is sick and is the single reason why man u and chelsea aren't like barca and sevilla. Second, your missing questionably the best stricker in the world, Didier Drogba as well as his defensive counter part and England captain, John Terry. I'm supprised you didn't mention FIFA player of the year Fabio Cannavaro. Another Midfielder you didnt put in your team is Totti who is just ******* ill this year and is the leading scorer in Italy. Good team but not the best.

Zizou is refusing to go, who knows the real reason but why did Lippi, knowing ZZ, chose MateRATzi for the squad while he knew damn well that Zizou was coming. Zizou is too proud to play with a loser like Bonovox aka Richard Gere aka azzurimen,oh no I meant, the rat.

Good squad but I'm wondering why he left out Buffon?

~edit: He is playing in Serie B now but there is no doubt he is one of the best in the world !

that's right, i didn't even notice it until you pointed it out. cannavaro has had a let down in form after the world cup, which players often due. but i think that it might me due to joining the black hole of talent that is now real madrid. i think that lippi went with the players that are healthy and are playing well right now, i don't blame him.

It doesn't exactly mean that. Lippi didn't include several players in his squad, including Totti, who is doing extremely well in Roma right now.
