A proxy server, or multiple proxy servers, is the quickest and easiest way. It's perfectly effective, the only way someone's going to get your address from the proxy server is if they're an expert hacker (a *real* expert, not the teens who claim to be because they know a few dos commands) or someone with a court order to get whomever owns the proxy to turn it over. So unless you're doing something *highly* illegal, a proxy should do the job just fine.
