YES, I have a dinosour that way's a ton. It's an old IBM XT and has 5 1/4 floppy large slow noisy drive, 40 mbyte HDD and 13" monocrome display. It has 640 Mg.Ram and has no windows, what can I do to upgrade this thing...?

You best bet is to vacuum seal it and pull it out in 30 years time and make a tidy sum off ebay....btw - do you still have ms-dos 4.0 or less still in the box - THAT is worth a fair bit nowadays - no kidding....

Nothing. It's not compatible with the sizes of the new motherboards or drives.

I did hear on the radio today that goodwill will properly recycle it, but it is worthless as a computer.

640KB, pal .... not 640MB....big big difference.

There is nothing you or anyone else can do with that PC so far as any remotely significant form of upgrade is concerned.

I will spare you & other readers the long boring list of why not ...
Trust me .... just let it go.

it might work as an anchor for your boat, totally useless for the web nowdays and not upgradable, keep it for 10 years and sell it on ebay.
