I have a friend that has a 15 yr. old daughter that is using meth, having sex with older men for drugs. She refuses to stay home, or go to school. Her mom is a good mom, she tries her hardest to do whats right for her daughter! But the minute she puts her foot down her daughter takes off, or becomes violent, very violent! She has called the police & get this, they said teenagers can do what they want!!!Even at 15, they said if an adult can leave home then so can a teen!! One cop said they can drink alcohol if they want to. My friend tried to have these older men arrested for having sex with a 15yr. old but the police said there was nothing they can do about it since her daughter refused to sign against them.I am in Las Vegas, and if there is anyone out there that knows where she can turn to for help please write. Her daughter is going to die if she can't find some serious help!! The police have a "there is nothing we can do" attitude!I'm shocked at there lack of concern!!

wow i'm surprised that the cops reacted in that way. at the age of 15 ur still a child in my opinion. The only thing i can think of is military school. You may want to see if they have a military where the teach them discipline and schooling. My best friend went and she came back a totally different person. I was proud of her for it. She may want to check into something like that. Good luck hope this helped. Another thing is someone i know was bad into having sex and drugs as well. and she ended up pregnant. well when she ended up pregnant she stopped doing the drugs. Her getting pregnant actually helped her become a better person. Maybe it'll take something easy like that.

Sounds like some kind of misunderstanding to me. She can force her child into rehab and that's what she should do, it's not like the kid is 18. And with all the new laws where pedophiles are concerned I can't believe they won't go after the grown men that are using this child. Her Mom needs to talk to the District Attorney if the police won't intervene. She needs to get her into rehab and into counseling. Every city in the US has ways to get free help for drug use and counseling. She should call child services if she needs help with these things.

Child welfare services is not only for parent who harm kids it protects and helps troubled children. You need to have her mother contact the state social services for children and advise them of the girls problems and fears that the child is going to harm herself. They will make sure the girl gets the help she needs even if they need to place her in correctional facilities for a short period of time. Of course the girl will rebel and indicate everything she has done is her parents fault; but, the welfare department will be able to see through her lies and show her a clear path to being a productive young adult rather than potential danger not only to herself but those around her. Do it quick.
