Georgetown is for real. Many ESPN analysts have picked them to make the Final Four. I think they will be the national-runner up and quite possibly the national champion. They won the Big East regular season and tournament championship. Georgetown has been hot lately and their only lost came to a team, Syracuse, that didnt even make the tournament. The talent of Georgetown combined witht their hard-nosed defense and dominant players on offense. This team features an inside-outside combo of Roy Hibbert, probably the most dominant center outside of Greg Oden in the game and Jeff Green, probably the only guy in the country who can guard Kevin Durant man to man effectively AND score with ease from the inside and outside. Green was the Big East Player of the Year and big time players in tournament time usually step up. The supporting cast of PG Johnathan Wallace and wing Dajuan Summers gives Hibbert and Green some help. Put in Patrick Ewing Jr. in the equation who does EVERYTHING that doesnt show up on the score sheet and you have a team destined for a deep tourney run.

They'll make it yo the final four if someone else in their bracket can upset Carolina. Not that Georgetown isn't a great team, the Heels are just too deep and talented for them. They have four or maybe even five quality big men they can rotate in to guard Hibbert. If the two were to play he would be bent over with his hands on his knees gasping for air midway through the second half.

I've been a loyal supporter of Georgetown for 5 years. If I didn't think they deserved to be in the final four, I wouldn't have put them in it. The fact is they are going to make it to the final four and have a legit shot of going all the way if they can get past UNC.

I was thinking about them today, they have a huge center who is just coming into his own right now, good guards, a spark plug off the bench with Ewing Jr. and they won the toughest conference this year with the most NCAA bids (7 total for the Big East, which could have easily been 8 if Syracuse had made it in).
I like GT to go far

I think they lose the regional Semis. to UNC. However, if they keep it up, next year could be the year, assuming many of their players come back.

They've only won 15 of their last 16 ... that shouldn't foreshadow anything, should it?
