If you placed an egg that had been in a hypotonic solution into a hypertonic solution would the knew solution be isotonic?
What about the same problem vise versa tho?

That's generally the case. If an egg is in hypertonic fluid, water will leave it until the egg is isotonic with its environment. And the reverse is true. An egg in hypotonic water will take on water until it is isotonic with the surroundings. This is true regardless of what kind of fluid the egg was in first.

Depends on the concentrations of hypo to hyper. If they were equal, then yes. Vise versa should be the same.
