Or sew period, for that matter. I took the home ec. course in high school, but that was a looooonnnnngggg time ago. I would like some online courses preferably.

Go to a fabric store such as Joanns or Hancock's. They usually offer sewing classes for beginners.

The best way is to use Jiffy patterns they r easy Also any sewing store workers are very helpful if u want to start as a new hobby. Some even give weekend classes for beginers.

I don't know of any online courses, but most adult eds have a sewing course. You could check your school department's website. Why do you need to sew with no pattern?

it never hurts to just jump in there and try some thing. You would be amazed at the ideas that come to you and to see that you can do a lot more than you think. why not start off with something simple like a skirt for a doll, yourself or someone that you know.

it's way more fun to learn from old ladies. go spend some time at a home , you can learn and do a community service keeping them company. two birds.
