My son just picked one up today. After 30+ minutes we decided to reset it thinking something was wrong. It's been another 20 and it still hasn't hatched?
Is there something else we need to do?

Lol ok heres the deal, It takes about an hour to hatch one, be patient though if it takes a bit longer!
good luck with your son's soon to be new addiction (well till the battery dies)

usually it hatches within a couple of minutes. I think you should return it for another one. If the don't allow you, sell it on Ebay. If no one will buy it, sue the tamagotchi company for selling defected products. I'm just kidding... don't actually do it.

Read your guide, and there are two buttons that you can hold down simultaneously and it should make it hatch within I think 7 minutes. It might be buttons A and C. I think you first hold down C and then press A, or vice versa. Good luck, sorry I don't have my guide anymore so I can't tell you for sure.

i have only had one but it hatches completely at random...it may take awhile.
