im going to be a junior in highschool next year and i was wondering what i should take. i want to take animation, but my mom wants me to take digital photography. i want to go to film school after highschool and i was wondering if one would be better to take than the other?

I would take digital photography. The technology upon which you'll be learning computer animation will be obsolete before you know it.

Photography, however is an art that is likely to endure technology evolution, and would therefore be a better use of your time. Good luck!

do what you want.

which do you believe will keep your focus or interest? don't bother listening to what your mom says unless she has a good source that will say digital photography is the way to go, now and in the future.

I think animation sounds more interesting though. but don't listen to me listen to your gut.
