My guitar teacher taught me how to play "I Miss You" by Miley Cyrus, it is really easy, it's an easy song it took me only two weeks to finish it! (I have him twice a week).
Boulevard Of Broken Dreams by Green Day is easy for me.
I Saw The Sign By Ace Of Base is also easy.
And I Hope You Had The Time Of Your Life by Green Day is pretty easy.

Well i just started playing the guitar like 5 days a go and The first thing that i was tough was how to play smoke on th waster and its pretty simple because its mostly on the one cord.

most any song by nirvana is easy to learn since they're mostly comprised of (or can be broken down into) power chords. go for "about a girl" or "polly" since they sound great on the acoustic!
