Are LeadAmerica Confrences worth the money, and does anyone have any ideas on how to earn money for this?

May I suggest instead that you look at Presidential Classroom (http://www.presidentialclassroom.org) first? I'm going to the Presidential Scholars' week next week (Mar. 18).
Try raising money through your school's PTA or a similar organization, or ask some local businesses to sponsor you.

Yes they are. I have sent all three of my children to Lead America conferences. They are great (and valuable) experiences for them. My daughter wanted to go to two conferences this year and found local businesses to sponsor her second conference. I value education highly and this is by far the best program out there!
