Who would win in a fight? Godzilla or King Kong?

first, there were two "Godzilla vs King Kong" endings. American version had King Kong winning, but the Japanese had Godzilla, but if they really went hand to hand, or claw to paw, Godzilla would win. Come on, Big G has that fire laser breath, what's Kong going to do, throw a rock?

First of all, the ending of the Japanese version of King Kong vs Godzilla does not show Godzilla winning the fight at the end. It is the same ending as the American version. The only difference is that at the end of the Japanese version when King Kong is seen swimming off you hear Godzilla's roar go off in the background.

If they fought again I think that Godzilla would win because he has way too many powers for Kong to handle. It woud be a good fight though.

Godzilla would definitely win. In the various movies that he is in he ranges from being 160 to 320 feet tall! Kong ranges from about 18-50. Godzilla could step on Kong. Plus, Godzilla breathes fire and destroys entire buildings with ease and cannot be killed with regular bullets (Kong can).

That being said, King Kong is a much better character than Godzilla in my opinion (based on the 1933 version, not either of the other two imitations) and I would prefer to watch King Kong over Godzilla for reasons ranging from better special effects (especially for the time), higher quality editing, better story, etc. But Godzilla would certainly win in a fight.

There was a movie titled Godzilla vs King Kong that came out in'68. In it Godzilla loses to King Kong because King Kong got some kind of freaky lighting power and zapped Godzilla. But I always felt that since King Kong is only a large ape while Godzilla is a lizard that got radioactive after the H bomb,Godzilla would win. Godzilla breathes blue death breath,don't you think that might tip the balance.

Godzilla,as an addition to the "talents" mentioned he/she can produce asexually (according to the movie) creating more versions of himself/herself leaving poor King Kong in Godzilla crowd.

Godzilla no contest when they faught it was in the 60's Zilla won that fight now you have to realize Godzilla has enough power to destroy a city kong doesn't,Zilla has 1000 of years of fight experiance.And he has 50ft or more over kong in size.Kong was killed by bullets.Godzilla cannot be killed by normal weapons showing his imperviousness hes alot tougher than kong .And has more strenght and power.Kong is outmatched by a long shot here.Godzilla wold step on those t-rexes and eat them.And Zilla has beaten multiple opponents and won many times.Check his last movie it's awsome his opponents are strong enough to destroy tokyo.Godzilla has this easy.Plus Zilla has more than 1 powerful blast he proved it in his last few movies his strongest is a red blast his second strongest he has to plant his feet and tail for balance he created a huge crater .Zilla is the King of all Monsters and he's proven it

I'd go with Godzilla, since he can breathe fire. That seems like it would give him the advantage. Also, I think he's considerably bigger (Kong is 25 feet tall, but Godzilla is the size of many modern skyscrapers, which are over 100 feet).

I would have to say King Kong. King Kong atlest has a greater span of arms for greater power rather than godzilla and his measly duck and bite move. King Kong would grab him and toss him like fruitcake.

becuz he is a dinosaur thing, which is quite armoured, while King Kong is like an unarmed monkey.
