whats better? why? personally, i hate rap. i cant stand it. i'll listen to other music mostly rock but rap bugs the **** outta me. all they talk about is sex, drugs, women, and they make women feel bad about themselves saying **** that makes them think guys only go for girls that are ***** and give it up to any guy tht asks.
and dont say they talk about ' their "problems" ' cuz what got them there in the first place { they even say it } is drugs.
so what do you think? whats better. rock?
or rap?

I can listen to almost anything. Not rap or country. Rock rules. Tell me what happen to rock-n-roll on the video channels??? Not only that, everything is bleeped, you can't tell what the hell they are saying anymore.

I personally like, no scratch that, LOVE all music. Not all rap is good and not all rock is good (sorry). Yes, alot of rap is demeaning and somewhat juvenile. Some is only for entertainment and dancing though and not meant to be taken seriously.
Some rock is really depressing or angry. Sometimes that's right on target with what you need to hear at the time to express yourself, but some can be a bit much. Let's not even discuss the Satanic sector of it.
I am a big Nickelback fan, I am also a big Tupac fan.
Huge Linkin Park fan, also huge Jay Z fan.
Music is music, just listen or don't, but don't crap all over other people's tastes and choices.

Nickelback is a great rock band and I think Rock is much better than any other genre of music.

as a true music fan I believe you comment is harsh. everyone has there own opinion and I respect that! Maybe you have been listening to the wrong "rappers", Try some Life Jennings, Common, or even Music Soul child , then get back to me.

and what do thay say in rock. the same things except their the ones taking the drugs and talkin about devil worshiping and other dumb s***. i only like some rap songs personally i love r&b but i cant stand rock. it gives me a headach all they do is yell.
