Hell no!! Of course he did well with this team. He brought that garbage in NY in the first place! He was the only person who could get something out of that mess!

He should be fired and never allowed to be GM for anyone ever again...

I think so, He has done a great job this season turning around a club that looked so completely lost last year. Right now There in the playoffs at the 8th seed, and playing pretty good basketball. It could have been so easy for him to have quit after a bad scandal of sexual harassment and an embarrassing season. I give Isiah props for sticking around and wish him the best in the future. P.S If he had anything to do with drafting David Lee I'd keep him around too.

absolutely not. From a die hard Knicks fan, Isiah Thomas has done nothing right for the team. The only reason why they have rebounded this year is because their young talent is maturing and getting better. He is doing very little to guide the team to win games but players like Marbury, Crawford, Curry, and Lee have stepped up during different games and this has caused them to win games. If they happen to make the playoffs this year and then make it next year too, then i will cancel my opinion but otherwise, HORRIBLE DECISION!?!?!?

I'm going to say - Yes, but as a Coach and Not a GM.

He has done a decent job as a coach. Most notably he has done a good job at developing Eddy Curry. I'm not sure they can win a championship with Isiah, but for now I would stay the course.

By also giving him a contract now, he avoids lame-duck status.

Absolutely not. The guy can barely coach. He cannot run an organization. He has made the NBA's biggest market a laughing stock.

No. And if he had gone through with that deal that would have sent David Lee to Portland he would be a corpse by now.
