I like it alot. Is it for a boy or a girl? River is a little bit hippyish, but it's balanced out by the Shultzman - which is a good strong name. And these days naming your kid River (or something like it) isn't out of place. We have a Forrest, a Leif (pronounced Leaf) and a Skye-Blu in our town!

I think like your wife. Reminds me of Frank Zappa's kids names ; Moon Unit, Dweezil, Ahmet, and Diva Muffin

It is really between you and your wife. But, if I get a vote, I vote NO to River.

Can his middle name be 'runs through it'? That was a great Brad Pitt movie! :) Just kidding. Makes me think of the late actor, River Phoenix. Hippy-ish, but O.K. If it fits your lifestyle, then go for it!

Oh my gosh. I love the name! It is catchy, unique, and it isn't so common like the name Kevin, Max, etc. I would so totally name my baby that LOL. Well anyway talk with your wife about the name and tell her why you like this name (persuade her!)

I would suggest that u keep on flowing toward better names. You dont wanna name your child something that she will be later embarassed about. Stick to something pretty and classy.

I like it, so I guess I am hippyish........ I also like Skye ...... just don't let her name him something like Chester or Orville.

I think Yellow Stream would be much more appropriate, since it's such a pissy name. Good luck with that.

Why don't you just name him Pecan, and tell everyone that the nut doesn't fall too far from the tree.
