Think of your worst teacher or college professor..now, will you describe him or her to me?

My worst was a college math professor. She was the math nazi spawn of SATAN!! I SWEAR!! She treated us like we were kindergarteners, giving us assigned seating and checking our calculators and rulers before tests to see if we wrote equations down to cheat. She also made us graph everything by hand, with a ruler, and would check the WHOLE problem wrong if you were so much as 1/16 of an inch off on your graphs. She NEVER got out of her chair the whole semester, instead, writing everything on an overhead projector, and her handwriting SUCKED. Plus, she collated the homework, adding the previous lessons, plus the newest lesson each class period, so that the night before a test, you had about 10-15 sections of homework that took you about 5 hours to do. Anyone ELSE wanna share THEIR horror stories?

Probably my old Biolgy proff. He would invite me to his office after class to "tutor" me, although I never asked him to tutor me and I had a 93% average in that class. Well once I did go to his office thinking a tutoring session might be a bit helpful and ya...he was definately sitting at his desk without a shirt on and lubed up in what appeared to be vegetable oil. I just turned around and walked out of his office without saying anything. The next day, as I was leaving his class, he slipped me a note that read "Sorry about yesterday. I was in the cafeteria and the cook spilled oil all over me, so I removed my shirt and was just about to change into another one before you walked into my office. Please come let me tutuor you today at 4. Peace and Love..." Funny thing is I go to a small college that does not have a cafeteria.

From now on I check out ratemyproffesor.com before I sign up for any classes. It is really helpful.

I had a professor who said uh all the time. Sometimes twice in a row. He was flamboyant as hell also. I tried to drop the class it bothered me so much but a counselor convinced me to stay. It was the longest semester ever. Once I kept track & before the first break he had said uh 575 times! I kept track by making 4 slashes & then adding a diagonal slash for the 5th mark. How someone could be so highly educated yet say uh all the time is beyond me. I felt like standing up & screaming, JUST SAY IT GD IT! SAY IT! I laugh about it now, but at the time it SUCKED! I feel better now. Thank you!

I took a double major in Philosophy and Economics. Most of the profs were very good, but there was one Econ prof in my junior year who we thought was a couple beers short of a six-pack.

Every class that wasn't a test was a lecture session, and the prof always got excited by his subject matter. He strode up and down the aisles, gesticulating, waving his arms and rambling on. He was very tough to understand. But the worst thing was that in his excitement, he often picked his nose & threw the boogers out into the classroom! Everyone sat as far away from the aisles as possible so as not to "catch" one.

Yes my probability and statics class was a nightmare...Dr.------ talked to the board, barely spoke the language, and never knew anyone had a question because he never turned around. Furthermore never showed up for scheduled meeting and kept no office hours... He was also the head of the department so there was never an opportunity to complain!

He is our vertebrate zoology lecturer.He is so mean and all up there...so full of himself.I don't know who he's trying to prove himself to or who he's trying to impress.He gives us these 15 page reviews to do for 1% and the reviews are way above our understanding.He finds the most difficult ones. And he marks our papers so hard,I don't think anybody ever got an A in his course.God I hate that man more than anybody else....

This is bad,but it was my kindergarden teacher[yes,I still remember].she pretty much made fun of me in front of the whole class,cause I drank my milk slower than everyone else.She even left me in the classroom by myself while the class went to recess.Why do I even still remeber that?

she was my 9th grade history teacher..and shes fat bout 250 pounds or so...lol and she has short gray curly hair..and she got freckles... she always have her butt about my face when she checks ppols homeworks ..very terryfying yea mean as hell!! she always kick me out until the end of the class and send me to the principal office... since im the only one who never really listens to her...
