The best way to find someone who can talk to you in person is to go to Quixtar.com and go to the Registration Page ... follow the prompts to have an IBO in your ZIP code assigned to you for followup.

Regarding some of the other comments about the validity of the Quixtar business: it's a business that, done right, requires you to sell products to others and recruit interested individuals to also be Quixtar Independent Business Owners (IBOs).

If your goals are small to start with (couple hundred bucks a month) this business can help you achieve them, with potential for more down the road as you build a larger organization.

Quixtar sales for 2006 were $1.118 billion, with more than $370 million returned to IBOs in the form of bonuses and other incentives. Retail earnings for IBOs are not included in that figure.

When you are approached by an IBO, you may also be invited to be part of their "system" for doing the Quixtar business, which would include business functions, suggested readings, and other training materials. These are strictly optional.

In short, the business can work and you can earn money. It is not "get-rich-quick" and does involve real effort and time.

For disclosure's sake, I manage Quixtar's PR group.

Does it work? - it depends
Can you make money doing it? - probably not

On paper, the Quixtar business model looks simple:
1) Change where you buy things
2) Convince 6 other people to do the same
3) Get rich

Unfortunately, it is usually not that easy. First of all, most people (90+%) will say "no" to joining up and, of the ones that say yes, 90+% will quit within a year or two. So you are always looking for new people.....litterally to the day you quit or die....whichever comes first. Secondly, you will be asked to buy "training" and "motivational" materials and attend seminars. You will be told that no one makes any money on these. This is a huge lie! The people who have made big money in Quixtar have made it off the cds, tapes and seminars. Of course they are rich. They just convinced 500 people to pay $100 each to hear how great their life is. Many, many people have paid thousands and thousands of dollars buying cds, tapes and going to seminars and have never turned a profit in Quixtar.

Also, you get a bonus with joining Quixtar: All of your friends and family will start avoiding you like the plague.

Bottom line: Is it a legitimate business? Yes. Will you make any money if you join? 99.9% chance- NO

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! check out the link, youll see what others think of it. these people come out of the gutters trying to push you into doing this scam...its a joke. they lie, they deceive...search around on the internet for a dateline article and video...i have a friend who did it, who tried suckering me into it, and when i didnt fall for it he doesnt call me anymore or hang out with me anymore. sadly i was in business with him but when he was randomly approached about quixtar, he went for a few meetings, then went to a seminar how many states away and the next day quit school. needless to say his priorities changed and im in the process of buying him out so that i can succeed. anyways, they want you to only associate yourself with other quixtar people and only other quixtar people to keep you brainwashed into thinking you can and will make money...even if 2 years down the road you've put 10k in and still arent making anything, they keep you sucked into believe that if you stick with it itll turn around and you'll be profitable...i could go on for days telling you how shitty this company is, but just do your research...i just hope you're smart enough to stay away from it at all costs. im actually happy that i answered this question just to have the chance to save someone!! lol if you have any further questions....please email me at isolationchamber40@yahoo.com and ill be more than happy to assist you.
