He is probably one of the most over-rated singers of all time....that stupid song that he sings is sooooo annoying....I would rather have bird pluck out my eyes than have to listen to that song one more time.

I think men probably dislike him the most because their women probably like James Blunt! lol I know he has alot of fans in the US & Canada. You can't turn on the radio without hearing "You're Beautifel" or one of his other songs. Hes definatelyn ot the best I have heard but decent. His song "Goodbye My Lover" was also the most requested song for a funeral in 2006.

I hate him! He has a terrible voice and his lyrics are dire - like something a four year old would write. Plus he looks really smarmy, complete w@nk.
I had a flat mate a while ago, really lovely girl but she had terrible taste in music and she would play that bloody Blunt album all the time. Drove me mad!
I don't like him and think anyone that does should have their ears ripped off. I'm female by the way.

I love James Blunt though!
I guess guys don't like him. I know a guy who hates James Blunt and goes mental everytime I play my Back to Bedlam CD.

I know a fair amount of men and women who like him. I did ask my husband why he thought a lot of men didn't like James' music (my husband DOES like him).
He said because the songs are not crotch-grabbing macho and deal with the more emotional sensitive side of men and that makes a lot of men uncomfortable.

I think his music sounds really good I mean he's not one of my favorites but I do think he's talented. There is just something kinda dreamy about him b/c i'm from the U.S. and you rarely find really senstitive straight men and james is different. His music makes girls (not all im saying) feel like theres hope in this world lol. Wow I sound really corny ok yea so thats what I think. I really love his song tears and rain (hes def. good for listening to when your depressed esp. over a breakup).

I think he is an acquired taste. I find him a bit depressing at times but dont think he is as bad as what people say he is.

I cant stand him. Hes so cocky and seems to think hes Gods gift (which hes not). Every time he comes on the radio I want to rip my arm off, just so Ive got something to throw!

He does have a good voice but I just couldn't sit there and listen to it. He is too boring, there is no charisma to him. I hate public schoolboys who pretend to be 'all rock and roll."
