all pokemon come in male and female versions exept for Mew, Mewtwo, Zapados, Dido, Eevee, Articunos, Moltrase, Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon. I hope that answers your question. However, im pretty sure that Ash Ketchum's Pikachu was a male

i think that pikachu is like somekinda race, just like asian, white, african, etc..., and there are boy pikachu's and girl pikachu's.

I'd say he's a male, as they at times refer to him as "he"
