Even though many of Sigmund Freud's theories have since been proven wrong, he is still often quoted today. What is it that makes him so interesting to modern society?

Sigmund Freud was a very clever man for his time, today his thoeries are studied in psychology and child behaviour and although many are wrong many are proven correct, especially in the way in which children develop.

I can remember carrying out exercises based on some of these theories and being amazed at how such a person would think and prove the way in which the brain develops like Freud.

In modern society a lot of these theories have been solved but I believe a founder of such information will always remain interesting in modern society.

He was the first one to blame every thing on the sexual being. And since sex is of interest to many people that is why he is so popular. Personally I think he was a little crazy himself and over obsessed with sex.
